Our teen driver’s education program is conducted in person and is divided into two key phases: classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training. The classroom portion consists of 12 sessions, each lasting 2 hours, totaling 24 hours. Upon successful completion, students receive a DEE-964 certificate, which they can submit to the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) to apply for a learner’s permit. Following the issuance of the learner’s permit, the driving portion includes 7 behind-the-wheel sessions, each comprising 1 hour of driving instruction and 1 hour of observation, totaling 14 hours.
