We no longer require masks. MASKS ARE OPTIONAL. We do temperature checks before entering the building.

Please contact us as soon as possible to cancel a teen classroom session. Cancellations within 72 hours will receive a full refund.

Please bring paper, a writing utensil and a water. Face masks are optional. Those taking the adult driver education should bring a sack lunch.

Teen Driving Course Questions

Yes, students can be as young as 15 to take the classroom sessions.

Yes, the fee will be divided into 4 payments. The first payment is due as a deposit to start the course. The second payment is due at the start of the 2nd week of class and the 3rd payment is due at the start of the 4th week of class. Final Payment is due before the start of the 7 sessions of drives.

To get a duplicate certificate of completion (the DE-964 or DE-964E Certificate of Completion), contact the driver education school you attended. If you completed a parent-taught course, contact the driver education provider with the parent taught endorsement.

Yes. Persons under 18 must be enrolled and attending school as a condition of being licensed to operate a motor vehicle, unless the person has a high school diploma or GED.

No. Teen driver education classroom hours cannot be applied to the 6-hour adult driver education classroom hour requirements. You must complete the full adult driver course or complete the full teen driver education program.

Out of state hours do not transfer to Texas. You will need to enroll into a Texas driver education program to complete the classroom and driving requirements necessary to obtain a Texas learner’s permit and driver license. Please check with DPS for more information.

Road Test Questions

Drivers at least 16 years old must:

  • possess a valid learner license for at least 6 months
  • complete an approved teen or parent-taught driver education course
  • complete the Impact Texas Teen Drivers course

Drivers ages 18 to 24 years old must:

  • possess a restricted driver license
  • complete the adult driver’s education course or an approved teen or parent-taught driver education course
  • complete the Impact Texas Adult Drivers course

The cost of the road test is $80.00. If student fails a second test will cost $25. Please call office if any further questions.

No, we will provide a vehicle for you to use. The instructor will give you some time to get accustomed to the vehicle before they begin grading your session.

Of course! Driving in rainy conditions is a necessary skill. However, we will cancel if there is flooding, which would make it unsafe to drive.

The remaining sessions for the day will likely already be filled. You’ll have to register for an open session on the website to retest.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be issued within 30 days of cancelling.

You must cancel within 72 hours once class has started.
